It is always challenging to access and share health data because of additional data privacy and security ask as you are dealing with patient health records, which is sensitive data. A robust and secure interoperability strategy and technology solution is required at the organization level to understand individual or population health needs, which results in better care outcomes and lowers the care cost.

Our interoperability experts work with you to assess different healthcare applications, devices, EMRs/EHRs and information systems and define an interoperability framework to access, exchange, interpret and use healthcare data cohesively, keeping compliances in center such as ePHI (Electronic Protected Health Information), HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), 510k, HITECH (Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health).

Our Interoperability Platform Capabilities

FHIR service in the Azure Healthcare APIs

It enables rapid exchange of data through FHIR® APIs, backed by a managed Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering in the cloud. It makes it easier for anyone working with health data to ingest, manage, and persist Protected Health Information in the cloud. Microsoft also provides an open-source project FHIR Server for Azure that can be deployed in existing Azure subscriptions.

FHIR Works on AWS

It is an open-source software toolkit that facilitates the transferal of health data between providers; irrespective of the software systems, data standards, exchange interfaces, and outputs involved. It implements a serverless FHIR API that supports FHIR resource types and operations to help healthcare providers leverage the FHIR standard to manage healthcare records

Healthcare Data Engine

It builds on and extends the core capabilities of the Google Cloud Healthcare API to make healthcare data more immediately useful by enabling an interoperable, longitudinal record of patient data. Healthcare Data Engine can map over 90% of HL7v2 messages to FHIR across leading EHRs out of the box, enabling a path to better care, while reducing the total cost of ownership.
